Lucky?

First post of update of 2013! Hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year!

I ended 2012 on bad luck. I managed to scrape together 9m towards my Armaberk and was on the verge of selling my Lu Shangs to get it when a friend suggested I ask Jurges to try and make one for me.

After 5.5m and 8 synths, I came away empty handed. I was gutted and it put me off playing for about a week or so. But thank you Jurges for trying even though you didn't know me.

All I've done since this happened is fish. I'm at level 70 now. But at around level 65, I decided to try and get some ebisu items.

At this point, I wasn't optimistic. After hearing horror stories of people going 0/1000+ on each of the items.

I don't know how. but gear related to drops (Like voidwatch), I get seriously lucky and this wasn't an exception.

First up was Liks.

1/49 on this one. Bought 50 of them and traded 1 to a friend who got his soon after, so my good luck passed on.

Esvedium offered to fish my gugrus on his mule as he could skill up on them. So I supplied him bait and 3 days later...

I couldn't believe it. After hearing all those stories, I've gotten 2 really (supposedly) rare items in 3 days. It cheered my up so much since failing on armaberk and has motivated me to play again.

Mekira Meikogai: 1/17

Toci's Harness 1/15

All drops from pil in less than 20 kills (including 2 dilaram sollerets)

Heka's Kalasiris: 1/47

As well as numerous other pieces which haven't taken me more than 20 kills to get.

Hopefully I haven't jynxed myself...

On another note. I started my own linkshell called Chemical. I was previously in a social LS but after constant bitching between people over the last few weeks and just getting fed up of helping people with pointless stuff. I decided to try to start something of my own. Since I should have my ebisu in the next 2 weeks. I've decided to start chasing a dream. Owning a relic. I know it's not such a big deal anymore. but I've always wanted one.

After debating with myself whether to do Mandau or Ragnarok first (I'd like to do both). I decided to do mandau. I really enjoy THF and Mandau looks like the ultimate edition to a THFs arsenal.
